This blog is to showcase steals, thrills, & mega deals in the shopping world. By this, I don't mean snatching up a Coach bag off E-bay for a couple hundred bones...I mean snatching up EVERYDAY needs (& sometimes wants) for pennies on the dollar...ie- children's socks for $1, cream of mushroom soup for 50 cents, Old Navy skirts for 99 cents...got it? Feel free to pass any of YOUR fab finds my way & I'll post them, giving credit to you of course. Happy Savings!

So many Safeway deals I'm too lazy to post a pic for each

First thing first.....

If you aren't already, you HAVE to start pulling the Safeway mailer out of your mailbox instead of chucking it to the trash. There are often coupons inside for AWESOME savings.

For instance:
1 box of Quaker Chewy Granola Bars: 99 cents
1 box of Kraft mac & cheese: 49 cents
Peter Pan peanut butter: 99 cents
Lucerne large count 18 eggs: 97 cents
Lucerne string cheese: $1.99/bag
I repeat, the above items MUST have a coupon. So again, I repeat, if you're not already looking through your Safeway mailer.......start that habit NOW!

Items in store you DO NOT need a coupon for:
Ritz crackers $1.88/box (Saturday & Sunday only)
strawberries - buy one get one free
Foster Farms whole chicken: 79 cents/lb
Ocean Spray juice: $2, but if you buy 5, they become $1 each....so 5 for $5!
Nature Sweet cocktail tomatoes: $1.49 each (Saturday & Sunday only)
Campbell's condensed soups: 4 for $5
Bush's variety beans: 4 for $5
Select General Mills cereals: $2.22
Chicken of the Sea tuna: 89 cents
sweet jumbo navel oranges: 99 cents/lb
red potatoes: 69 cents/lb
2 lb Eating Right baby carrots bag: $1.99
Check the Safeway site to view more savings at your local market.
